The energy and utilities sector primarily focuses on the production and distribution natural gas, water, and other forms of power. The IAC portfolio contains two equity positions within two of these verticals. This sector is historically regarded as a stable and sustainable as it offers a universally demanded service, and has significant growth prospects related to new developments related to renewable energy. While the IAC portfolios exposure to energy and utilties is relatively small compared to other sectors, it is responsible for a considerable portion of its overall recent growth.
